Run the World is not just another travel company—it’s a movement that combines the thrill of exploration with a positive social and environmental impact. Based in Spain, the brand creates authentic travel experiences that highlight the beauty of each destination while actively supporting local communities and sustainability projects. Their mission: to inspire people to see the world differently, where every journey leaves a meaningful footprint.

The challenge: limited reach, limited impact

Despite offering unique, socially responsible adventures, Run the World faced significant challenges in its digital presence. Low visibility on social media, insufficient website traffic, and limited audience engagement meant that their message wasn’t reaching the travellers most aligned with their values. Without a stronger digital voice, their ability to connect with new audiences and drive bookings remained restricted.

To address this, we designed a social media strategy that balanced two key elements: the excitement of adventure travel and the brand’s commitment to social and environmental impact. Content was carefully crafted to highlight the beauty and challenges of each destination, while showcasing partnerships with projects that matter. By combining storytelling, impactful visuals, and data-driven optimisation, we built a content journey that was both inspiring and effective.

Consistency through engaging visuals

All content—from short-form videos to immersive photo stories—was aligned with Run the World’s brand identity, creating a cohesive and engaging presence across platforms. Visuals were not only stunning, but also purposeful, reflecting the dual narrative of exploration and positive impact. This consistency helped strengthen the brand’s credibility and reinforced its position as a leader in socially responsible adventure tourism.

Results that speak volumes

The impact of this new approach was both immediate and measurable. Impressions increased by 86%, significantly broadening the brand’s reach. Profile visits rose by 36%, signalling greater audience interest and interaction. Most importantly, website clicks grew by 123%, driving traffic and potential bookings.

 

Run the World is now recognised not only for delivering genuine adventure, but also for setting a standard in how travel brands can create meaningful impact while growing.
